CMMC Operator Suite Fit Check

A privacy-first five-minute check to decide whether CMMC Operator Suite Core, Complete, or neither fits your organization.

FIVE-MINUTE PRODUCT FIT CHECK

Use this check to decide whether Core, Complete, or neither is the right next step. It does not ask for an email, submit your answers, or store information about your environment.

Start with fit, not price. The Suite is an editable documentation system. It is not a certification, implementation service, legal opinion, assessor decision, or guaranteed outcome.
1

Is this for internal use by the purchasing organization?

Yes: continue.

No, it is for multiple clients or paid client deliverables: the standard license is not the right fit. Confirm commercial-use licensing before purchase.

2

Do you need a CMMC Level 2 documentation system?

Yes: continue if you need an SSP, policies, procedures, forms, workbooks, and evidence references mapped to NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2 and the 320 assessment objectives.

No: if your need is Level 1 only, a certification decision, or a different framework, neither edition is the clean fit.

3

Can your team tailor, approve, operate, and evidence the documents?

Yes: continue.

No: neither edition replaces an internal control owner, technical implementation, evidence collection, or professional services. Buy only when someone owns the operating work.

4

Do you need the specialty and enablement layer?

Choose Complete if you want the 10 specialty documents, AI governance workbook, or training deck in addition to the Core system. Common signals include more complex supplier, external-system, incident, removable-media, cloud-responsibility, insider-risk, or AI-use needs.

If those needs are not present, Core is the smaller starting point.

5

Have you inspected what actually ships?

Before choosing, compare the completed policy sample, public release manifest, and procurement facts. If the structure and level of detail match what your team can use, proceed to the edition comparison.

Complete is likely the fit

  • Everything in the Core fit applies
  • You want all 54 documents and 7 workbooks
  • Specialty governance or operational documents matter
  • AI use is in scope or likely to be
  • A ready-to-customize training deck is useful

Current price: $399 one time.

Neither is likely the fit

  • You need Level 1 only or a different framework
  • You want a certification guarantee or assessor ruling
  • You need technical implementation or managed compliance
  • You lack an internal owner for tailoring and evidence
  • You plan multi-client use under the standard license

Resolve the underlying need or license question before purchase.

Mac-first does not mean Mac-only. The system is strongest for Apple-heavy and mixed environments. The five-document Mac overlay is selective and covers the 46 requirements with a meaningful macOS implementation difference, not all 110 requirements.

If you are still unsure

Write down only these non-sensitive facts before using the contact path: approximate endpoint count, Mac and Windows mix, MDM, identity and cloud stack, whether the use is internal or for clients, current documentation state, and the outcome you need. Do not send CUI, FCI, contracts, credentials, diagrams, configurations, logs, screenshots, SSP content, or assessment evidence.

The Terms of Use and selected checkout edition control. This fit check is educational and does not amend the license or promise an assessment result.
